LaRouche - Emergency Impeachment Cheney, Then Bush
<snip>

The need for moving toward impeachment of Cheney now is crucial for two reasons, LaRouche emphasized. First, it is now crystal clear, including to leading circles in the U.S. establishment, that the world financial system is headed for a spectacular blowout, either around the collapse of multi-billion-dollar hedge funds, the real estate bubble, or other huge corporate failures. When the blowout comes, the U.S. Senate, if it has not done so beforehand, will have to move aggressively to implement the kinds of protective bankruptcy reorganization measures which LaRouche has outlined, in order to "save the people, not the banks." But this cannot happen if Cheney and Bush are in place to block the necessary action. Thus, they must be confronted with impeachment charges now.

1. Unless we Congress back next year...
...it would be a waste of time. And it might make it look like they are innocent if the impeachment failed.

3. Ohmigod... I think I agree with LaRouche
Has it really come to that?

He's right... impeaching Bush is pointless as long as Cheney's in the #2 spot. You gotta get Cheney out first, like Agnew/Nixon.

He's a weirdo, but I increasingly find myself agreing with what he says. Some of the layman economic analysis he does is pretty spot-on. There are some great articles on his site.

Edited to add: I don't endorse the man, by any means. That cult of his is a weird bunch of people.

that Lyndon LaRouche comes across as a voice of sanity.

I remember when that aardvark-hole sponsored a state ballot initiative to quarantine AIDS patients arguing that the disease was carried by mosquitoes. We had to spend real money beating that one back.

9. Help is help - he has a following - One person at a time
It takes little pockets of truth here and little pockets of truth there. Now all of a sudden we discriminate against those who embrace truth. We should embrace those who embrace truth, no matter who the hell they are. We can not afford to alienate anyone group who speaks truth.

11. Normally, I'd welcome him to our side of the barricades
However, since LaRouche is a crackpot with no credibility at all, I'll just send him out to pick up the pizza.
