Even the Queen has had enough of Bush so it seems...
Edited on Fri Jul-08-05 10:14 AM by Blue_Roses
Do you remember Bush's first visit to the Queen? It caused quite a stink. First, his helicopter landed in her garden and ripped up centuries old rose bushes, and the Secret Service tore up the lawn of Buckingham Palace - something no other visiting president has done. Then one of the twins showed up for dinner with the Queen in blue jeans. The twin was banished to a smaller table in another room - now the Queen has banished George to the end of the line.

Looks like the queen has had enough of Bush. It's got to piss him off...

Of all the men on the front row, Putin has the most natural pose.

Embarrassing.

He's like your dorky, bratty cousin that your mom made you take to the party, or you couldn't go either.

6. Now that is a true slap-down!

Peace.

www.missionnotaccomplished.us - How ever long it takes, the day must come when tens of millions of caring individuals peacefully but persistently defy the dictator, deny the corporatists their cash flow, and halt the evil being done in Iraq and in all the other places the Bu$h neoconster regime is destroying civilization and the environment in the name of "America."

25. Of course, if you had been multi-millionnaires,
they would have grovelled at your feet, whatever your daughter was wearing/not wearing. I hear they even allow shoplifting if your husband is reach enough (say, an Arab Royal) and settles the amount quietly afterwards. I once took my visiting parents there and as we walked in two very smartly dresed security men took one look at my long hair and beard, walked up to us and said, "Can we help you... sir?" I said, "I'm an incredibly rich eccentric showing my parents round your little shop."
I waited long enough for them to register my parents and try to work out a reply, then we walked on. Horrible place. My parents enjoyed it though.

Was this taken before the attacks?

Shrub looks like he's been hitting the martinis again.

Putin looks like a KGB lounge lizard.

Chirac looks like someone just punched him in the solar plexus.

Blair has this huge shit eating "We got the goddamn Olympics, take that Frenchie" grin on his face.

The queen looks like she'd rather be anywhere else than with these guys.

16. Why does the leader of the US look like Howdy Doody?
I mean.. look at the other men up there, not including Blair who looks like a dufus also. Bush looks like he is posing for a fraternity snapshot.. he looks totally disconnected and goofy. I think it's true, those stories we've been hearing lately that from people who have met him, that he is totally divorced of reality.. and basically a mean-spirited version of Forrest Gump.

37. Don't hate me...
I actually thought that a few people looked worse in this pic than Georgie-Porgie. I realize that his hands in his lap look a bit suspicious but Blair has that "come and get it" look with the jacket spread tackily wide and the lap wide open. Putin is quite the poser. Is he slouching or just really short? Chirac looks kind of goofy with the chair covering pushed so far back. Damn, the only people who know how to sit properly are the Queen & Prince Philip. BTW, Koizumi is such a cool looking guy for a Japanese Prime Minister. Totally not what I expected. Can anybody tell me who the other people are in the back row. That's Schroeder in the center right? Which one is Berlusconi, the one behind Bush & Philip? Is Paul Martin the one at the other end? Okay, maybe I only need to know guy #2.

41. A tangent to this issue:
This morning an American reporter (I've never seen her before) asked Tony Blair what the Queen said to him after yesterday's attacks when they had a private meeting. He said not repeating what the Queen says to the PM is one of their quaint "conventions". I wonnder if the Queen was pissed at Bush and his pugilistic policies and read Blair the riot act for following along with it and getting more Brits killed.
