Will the Stock Market fall like a stone today?

I would imagine the Market will react badly to this, although as details become more readily available maybe sanity will return. Not that it's all that important in comparison to the carnage in London.

But, what will this do to the Market today? :shrug:

completely focused on this, until we know it's over atleast.

Don't quote me but the Dow is setting at like 10,270, I'd bet it will go to 10,000. I feel so bad for the people of London. This is a sad day.

I turned on CNBC and the dollar is gaining aginst only one major currency, the pound.

14. Some of you need to take a chill pill

My DH is British and even he wondered about the Pound and FTSE this morning.

Yes he is concerned about friends and family, but he has called and they are all right. The Brits have lived with terrorism for years and can handle things pretty damned well when it comes to it and I doubt a conversation about how this will affect the economy or the markets is going to cause much of a stir with too many of them.

I for one am not one to wail and wring my hands either. The deed is done. Discuss it, debate it, provide sympathy and condolences but don't beat each other up over it.
