1. Wow.
Leno told a Bush joke???

You sure there wasn't something about Clinton's penis or being a liar in there somewhere?

3. Shocking
Jay Leno has been kissing the president's rump forever. I wonder if Letterman is doing better in the ratings. Or maybe Jay is just following the public opinion polls. If Leno was half as hard on Bush as Clinton, I would be satisfied.

13. Actually Letterman beat Leno in the ratings the other night
First time in a long time. (I don't know why, Letterman is much funnnier.)

Maybe that's more proof the tide is turning.

12. just like the news networks
They run a poll, and see how liked *. If more people like him, than not, then they figure that people only want to hear positive stuff. If, like now, his approval ratings are around 50%, they figure that half of their viewers want to hear some negative stuff too.

They're all whores. Franken is right--there's no media bias. There's just no objectivity.

8. Leno
will go where the wind blows, as was said above, and the wind is starting to change.

I never watch him, but I sure will be tuned in on Sept. 30...

9. Another Leno joke according to the mighty Bartcop:
"So, Wesley Clark is running for president. Pretty amazing guy. Four star general, first in his class at West Point, supreme commander of NATO, saw combat in Vietnam, won the bronze star, silver star, the purple heart for being wounded in battle. See, I'm no political expert, but that sounds pretty good next to choking on a pretzel, falling off a scooter and dropping the dog."
-- Leno

Wow! Brutal! Yummy. Tear that alien a third corn chute!

10. I liked that joke
And I don't see why people here hate Jay Leno. I watch him every night.

I don't care who he makes fun of. He is a comedian. He pokes fun at everyone.

I remember when Ari Fleischer resigned as press secretary. Jay made a joke that Ari resigned because he got tired of playing scrabble with Shrub and saying, "Mr. President, that is not a word."

Good stuff.

11. They used to say, once you become a joke on late-nite
television, you are done for. Clinton proved an exception, though. Can Bush?
