Conservative talk radio is trying to kill the uranium story big time!

I haven't enjoyed the local conservative talk radio this much in a long time.

I listened to Scott Cox on KERN in Bakersfield and he is coming unglued trying to shut down the Uranium story. His telling lie after lie after lie and bashing Wilson who went to Niger and the Dem Presidential candidates. He is trying to discredit anyone who is not one of the Bushies. He says that the 16 words in the SOTU speech were true because Bush said it came from British Intel and that the Brits had 3 other sources to back up the claim.


This must really have them running scared. They can't blow this off and it is frustrating the hell out of them. The right wing media has lost control of the ball and can't get it back!

1. 620 AM ("Clear" Channel ) was not on this weekend in Portland OR area...

they replaced it with "oldies"- but only for the weekend. Nazi Gallagher was back this AM.

that they, too, have other sources for the uranium claim...they just aren't saying what those sources are. I believe the Brits are taking this route too.

Supposedly, the French have the documentation proving that Iraq was involved in buying uranium from Niger. Oh yeah, that's the "other" documentation Blair is talking about. So PROVE it Tony, show us the "money." Well, seems the problem with that is the French won't hand it over. Yeah, right. We believe that.

11. Too bad the Administration doesn't have the frevor and faith

in those "16 words" that the right-wing idiots in the media have.

Those 16 words are responsible for the deaths of thousands of people and the deaths of hundreds of American troops and injured thousands of troops...
This is impeachable. Fabricated evidence used to launch an invasion of a nation that posed no immediate threat to America or Americans.

It is up to "Heil hannity" and his ilk to "save" the presidency.

15. Limbaugh now saying Brit claim was true....

Says no scandal because the British are standing behind the claim.

My guess is that, after Sunday, the decision was made that the lie(s) in the SOTU was not defused by apologies by the CIA, so now the new tact will be: Bush said Brits said and the Brits will defend it to their dying breath with "it's true but we can't tell you why".
