After listening to James Inhofe on C-SPAN2
I now support CAFTA. He listed a bunch of those crazy far left groups who oppose it. There were a number of them, most with the words "Earth", "save", and "environment" somewhere in their titles, and he didn't even list all that he had.

Then he told us that the Communists Chavez and Castro oppose it. He rightly told those who wish to stand with them, are more then welcome to humiliate themselves.

Then he told us of the freedom fighters down in Central America during the 80's, and how Reagan and Bush I and the Contra's were spreading democracy and freedom against the Communists.

He talked in a calm tone, so he must be correct. He will get no outrage over the outrage from me.

But then, it really doesn't matter what I think. I'm just a consumer. Thank God(and I'm an atheist) that there are brown people down south that will be forced to work to make my life a little cheaper.

I really, honestly, truly, hate corporate globalization. It's a shame it'll only get bigger.

Thankfully we've made those One World Government Socialists go away. All the while, the Global Capitalists stole our time.

1. Some of those Central American's don't really have the proper
appreciation and reverence for CAFTA either, but since, like us, they're not the ones in power I expect they'll force this one on us too.

2. I turned Inhofe off...
...after that. He seemed to arguing that CAFTA is cool because most conservative groups supported it, while "far left" and "radical" groups didn't support it.

Senator Byron Dorgan, of North Dakota, made a great and reasoned arguments against CAFTA earlier, using facts, not exclusionary BS like Inhofe. Dorgan also said something to the effect that he was sure the Bush administration thought they had "bought enough votes" to push it through.

5. This sonofabitch has been squirreling money away in the Caymans for
40 years...everyone with a political IQ over fourteen here in Okla has known it forever and the wingnuts don't give a rat's ass. They think it's "clever."

Now we have another insane fuckwad senator (Coburn, who I have known very well personally since 1969 and that is another story) who replaced the former insane fuckwad Nickles.

Maybe living in hell on Oklahoma earth will give me a break on judgment day..?

7. I knew him (Inhofe) back in the early 70's - he had an affair
with a friend of mine when he was in the Oklahoma legislature and she was a staffer. His running buddy was Ralph Thompson (also in Oklahoma legislature)who later got a judgeship. Both pious and full of themselves - chased everything in a skirt.

Later years my aunt was his campaign manager for one of his runs.

What a hypocritical pig.
