Gotta weigh in on Clark with O'Reilly last night. Anyone notice that Wes
was looking at O'Reilly most of the time when O would be spouting his dumbass views, and the look on his face screamed, "This guy is insane."

I watched the replay last night and laughed out loud at the look on Wes' face. It was perfect.

2. General Versus Chickenhawk - NO CONTEST
I think oreilly and his kind have probably chatted in their little klavern meetings not to fuck with the general too much. He will slowly go through the faux hierarchy one kneecap at a time.

3. The General showed great self control. This talking head spouting off at
him, "I'm a political analyst" just blathering on. What knowledge, background, does Loofah boy bring to the discussion anyway? I don't know how Clark kept from slapping O'Liely, or at least laughing at him.

5. It must be tough as hell to argue with a General on foreign policy
I wonder how long it will be before they stop putting him on because he's making them look like asshats.

7. O'Liely's viewership is fading.
It takes the RW Cult a long time to realize how stupid these pundits are because they are on the Koolaid. O'liely just proved how stupid he is by even having Gen. Clark on his show. What a freakin' fool O'Liely is. He won't last much longer. Greta has twice the viewers. Faux is losing viewers by the millions so they asked Gen Clark to show up in hopes that they don't keep losing viewership.

8. I've heard that O'Reilly's ratings are going both shooting up.....
and plummeting down in different threads here on DU.

I guess I'll have to do my own research on this one!

10. Clark may appear regularly. Just before the segment ended O'Reilly
Edited on Thu Jun-30-05 05:09 PM by oasis
said something like "welcome aboard as Fox analyst".

9. I didn't like the clip
I thought it was demeaning to Gen Clark to even be there. O'Lielly just kept spouting like someone pulled the spigot on a beer keg.

11. I hear you. But, otoh, it's not FOR us. Sometimes people just need to see
for themselves that thugs like O'Reilly have no class or point and that men like Clark do exist.

12. I see it as Clark taking the battle to the Fox audience. O'Reilly looked
like an absolute fool. He knew he was outmatched -- did you see the way he avoided eye contact?

Fox's audience needs to see more of this kind of exchange.

13. Wes looks presidential
He doesn't answer fuckhead's questions, he continues with his point. This is good training for the general. He rocks.
