Ever seen the movie "Garden of Stones"
its called "Garden of Stones"
here is the just of it
An almost forgotten Francis Ford Coppola flick that's worth a spin for its unsentimental stateside look at the Vietnam War and for its talented, well-known cast. Sgt. Clell Hazard (James Caan) is in charge of burying Vietnam soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery. Feeling useless, he transfers to Fort Bragg to train recruits for what they'll ultimately face. Anjelica Huston and James Earl Jones co-star

its an EXCELLENT movie all of what i saw but i missed the last 20 minutes or so..
but its on the cable movie channels now

2. During the filming of that movie,
Coppola's only son was killed in a boating accident on the Chesapeake (I think - maybe the Severn River?). I'm amazed the movie ever got finished.

Ryan O'Neal's younger son was responsible for the accident, and, if I recall correctly, did jail time for the young Coppola's death.

The saving grace is that the Coppola boy's girlfriend was pregnant with his child, and later gave birth to a healthy baby, who was named after the late father.

I can't watch that movie. Never could.
