Spain Legalizes Same-Sex Marriages

MADRID, Spain (AP) -- Parliament legalized gay marriage Thursday, defying conservatives and clergy who opposed making traditionally Roman Catholic Spain the third country to allow same-sex unions nationwide. Jubilant gay activists blew kisses to lawmakers after the vote.

2. I believe they are referring to European countries.
Belgium, the Netherlands and now Spain.

3. It's not final in Canada until later this summer.
Technically, Canada will be the fourth nation to include full civil rights to all its citizens.
