3. The idea that Bush earned ANY grade is laughable
I'm sure his professors had an "understanding." :eyes:

9. I agree ...
but it seems that if you are going to pay someone to to do your school work, you would at least find someone above average.

Cheers

4. Kerry screwed up Freshman year (like soooo many people)
but really pulled his grades up after that. Bush was a fairly consistent C student throughout his college years.

5. It really doesn't matter if he did
In the years since Bush and Kerry left Yale, their paths diverged.

Kerry's now too smart for his own good, and Bush can't add 6 and 7 without taking his shoes off.

7. Kerry's freshman year pulled down his overall average. He had C's and Ds
because he was spending more time on learning to fly at 19 than on his studies.

After he earned his pilot's license, he then buckled down.

Bush was always passed along at Yale as the son of GHWBush. Even though he went through a million taxpayer dollars learning to fly at the Texas National Guard during Vietnam, Bush at 28 failed to complete his certification due to his fear of landing which was likely prompted by his use of drugs and alcohol...or a basic character flaw where he is unable to accomplish anything on his own.

8. wow kerry flew at nineteen?
Seriously the guy impresses me more everyday. How come some many people voted for chimpo is beyond me. Hmm we should have used that in the campaign some how. "Fly high with Kerry or crash and burn with Bush"

11. He can actually stunt-fly, loop da loops, etc...
He flew the helicopter sometimes during his campaign, but the media wouldn't cover that aspect of Kerry while presenting the fake-cowboy who's afraid of horses as some sort of macho hero.

Every time Kerry did something that he has done for decades, fly, hunt, surf, hockey, cycle or Harley ride, the media would treat it as phony act, while Bush pretends to be a cowboy on a fake ranch who's afraid of horses and rarely shot off anything but one-liners and the media lied and said with Bush what you see is what you get...he's so genuine.

Media lied every step of the way for their corporate masters.

13. I agree
There was so many guns on Kerry that he couldn't have possibly dodged the bullet. I also wonder if there wasnt something more that I can do to help. Say an extra five dollars here or there.

14. Want to hear a funny story?
I go to Yale, unfortunately we have to share an alma mater with He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, and my roommate was telling me this year that she had heard (I think from one of her professors) that when Bush was at Yale, there was a senior professor who hated teaching. She only did research. But the administration had decided that all of the professors had to teach that year, and she was no exception. She finally agreed to do it, but because she hated teaching and grading and dealing with students so much, she would only do it if she could give all of the students - every single one - an A.

Bush got a B.

I don't know whether this story is true or not...I feel like Yale wouldn't have had senior female professors in the sixties. But at the very least, it makes a good joke. :P
