and everything else was exactly the same from 9/11 to date, he would have been impeached and the Congress would have asked for a trial by the International Courts that we don't even support.

If you want to think about what fate GW Bush should face, just replace his name with Bill Clinton. This is also a great response to any moralizing RW conservative Christian patriot who wants to talk about what a great job Bush is doing.

1. It would not have been Bill Clinton, it would have been Al Gore...
...and under Al Gore 9-11 would not have happened, the military-corporate cabal would have gone after his neck, taken Gore out, installed VP Joe Lieberman as president and then all of the things we've seen under Bush from a foreign policy standpoint would have pretty much unfolded under Lieberman.

As for domestic policy and the economy, I can't really say how Lieberman would have handled that. Lieberman would have been a single term president I'm sure and where we would be politically today is anyones guess.

2. I believe Pres-Elect Gore would've killed Bin-Laden in December, 2000.
We would've held the Senate in '02 and USED Joe-Man to placate the Right.:donut:

3. I don't know about the international Courts
I think they are bright enough to realize that once the precedent has been set its harder to go back on it. NOt by much, mind you, but just barely bright enough.

4. I used to try "put the shoe on the other foot" arguments
all the time on the Republicans that I know, but they would just stare at me blankly. I know not all Republicans are like these particular dittoheads, but it seems that some people just don't understand the concept of equality under the law or even basic fairness.

They just think Republicans are better and more "moral" than other people and should be above the law and should be treated special. They think Democrats are all "crooked" and should be punished.

They think that way about themselves too, they are white and therefore special and should be treated accordingly.
