Tucker Carlson's New Show Not So Bad
I had refused to watch his new show because I always thought he was a pompous ass. On Crossfire there were usually three screaming pompous asses and one guy who rarely said anything. My blood would be boiling by the end of that show and for nothing. I watched "The Situation" tonight and found the debate to be civil and enjoyable. I still don't agree with everything he says, but I must say, his show is kind of fun.

1. He'll suck you in and screw you--and in this sense, he won't let you
down.

6. LOL! What a picture. I can't imagine NOT being let down getting screwed
by a guy in a bow tie! Probably his wife thinks differently, though.

:)

3. Any show that has Rachel Maddow as a regular....
is okay in my book. An honest to God progressive in prime time news.

5. But they are not letting her be herself. She is so much smarter and
edgier than they are letting her be on this show. I wonder how long she will put up with being hemmed in like this.
But - Maybe a little bit of Rachel is better than none at all.

The liberal co-hosts always give him a good talking to.

Himself, he's far more reasonable than O'Reilly, Hannity, Scarborough, Crowley and the rest of the RW shills.

7. I agree. Both sides are represented and they usually speak to
each other respectfully. I've got no problem with that.

I believe Tucker wasn't for the Iraq War and doesn't agree with BushCo on everything and he didn't like that on Crossfire he was supposed to always argue their side even when he didn't agree.

He is still a conservative and I disagree with most of what he espouses but Rachael gets our point of view out there too.

9. Limpballs has to be pissed off.
He attempted to make fun of Maddow when she defended congressman using the term Nazi to Limpballs using femme nazi to describe progressive /powerful woman. He kept asking who this Maddow was...well now she is on TV where he failed and she is likely to remain, if not on Tucker's show, maybe eventually her own. Who gets the last laugh now Hophead?

10. Severin is cutting back to 2 days a week, and suggested he may
be off the show in the near future - like this week.

He does 3 days now, said today he will not do Mondays anymore. He then said he'd be on tonight and in probably tomorrow, but that maybe he might not be on the show.
