Even though I know this field is going to quickly narrow, it should be noted that all of these candidates represent a certain part of a VERY big tent. I guess my point is, lets just see. But the point is, they've all been handing Bush his ass for the last six months (Even Clark on TV). So here's what I think of them:
I like Clark because he's socially liberal, and an outsider military hero (Potential to reshape the political landscape by stealing back of the Reagan Dems).
I like Dean because he's a fireball and I LOVE the grassroots. He's great. I've seen him speak and I think he led the way on the Bush attack. And I think it really paid off.
I like Edwards because he's a nobody who made himself a somebody with no ones help. He's a good speaker, handsome, and southern. Also, socially liberal.
I like Kerry because he's a lifelong liberal, a war hero, and someone who I think could do a MUCH better job with foreign diplomacy. HINT: If he doesn't win, he should be made Secretary of State.
I like Graham because he's been in the game forever and he's funny. Favorite line, "Did you see that book about Bush and leadership? Must have big type, lots of pictures."
I like Gephardt because he's been a BIG friend of labor. He's got his faults. But the guy is so pro-labor he sweats union.
I like Sharpton because he's friggin hilarious. The guy is sharp and whoever wins the nomination should immediately hire him as a 'shadow' speechwriter. Oh yeah, he's really into GOTV.
I like Kucinich (I've warmed to him) because he's so damn liberal and he is helping to get a lot of former Green people involved in the process. Hopefully they don't start screaming about Nader if he doesn't get the nomination.
I like Braun because well, ummm, she's smart and I, well, think she's cute. I agree with what she says too.
And finally, I even like Liberman. Why? Well, ummm, let me think about this...... ok, I like Lieberman because.... Shit, ok, I got one. I like Lieberman because..... OK, I've got it! Sometimes he attacks Bush. Sometimes is enough for me to like him, grudgingly.
