We need to shout this to the world
i know this is a dupe but we really need to get the word out to all websites that "Col. David Hackworth thinks Clark is simply great". kind of puts the damper on Bush's resume don't you think ?

1. I agree, very good news for Clark, and possibly Dems
The Right really would have loved Hackworth to attack Clark, that way they could have a military man discredit him. However, now that strategy goes out the window. Who is going to stand up to Hackworth? A bunch of men who refused to serve when they could have (Bush, Cheney)? How can Bush and Cheney call Clark "unpatriotic". Clark was a RHodes Scholar then returned to fight in Vietnam. This is too good.

2. As Leno joked
"Four star general, graduated first in his class at West Point, supreme commander of NATO, served combat in Vietnam. What, he won the bronze star, silver star, the purple heart. Wounded in battle. I'm no political expert, but that sounds pretty good next to choking on a pretzel, falling off a scooter and dropping the dog."

6. nice quote, who is it from
No, not the beer out of the nose thing - the Michael Collins sounding one.
I am always amazed when Leno tells an anti-Bush joke. This time the split was about 20-80 or maybe 30-70. With 30% laughing a little and 70% going "ooooh". That is better than he usually gets for anti-Bush stuff.

4. We DON'T need to shout it, and if you know it's a dupe, why are you
posting it again? This is typical of the Clark supporters on DU -- trying, once again, to ram this quasi-Republican agent of the Military-Industrial complex down our throats.
