(KY) Boy, 7, charged with murder
WOMAN, 39, ALSO HELD AFTER LIVE-IN BOYFRIEND IS STABBED TO DEATH

By Derek Poore

THE PADUCAH SUN

HICKMAN - A 7-year-old boy was charged with murder last night and a woman, 39, was arrested and charged with complicity to commit murder in connection with the stabbing death of her live-in boy-friend.

Robert Sanders, 62, died about 8:30 p.m. Monday in his home, Fulton County Coroner Henry Callison said. He had a knife wound to the upper left chest. An autopsy was performed yesterday in Madison-ville, but results were not available, Callison said.

A murder charge was filed against the boy in consultation with Fulton Commonwealth's Attorney Tim Langford, Hickman police officer Derek Goodson said. The child and Teresa Sanders were charged yesterday evening after several hours of questioning by authorities, Goodson said.

Teresa Sanders, described by a neighbor as Robert Sand-ers' live-in girlfriend, was charged based on her withholding information from police, Goodson said.

This is messed up. There aren't a lot of details to the story, but what makes a 7 year old even contemplate murder?

1. I'm wondering what 62-year-old man couldn't fend off an attack
from a seven-year-old.

2. How is this boy even related to the two adults in this story?
Doesn't say how he came to be there at all. Could this man have been abusing him and she found out about it?

Damn sad.

6. Well they haven't released full details
because of the boys age, but they seem to think that he was the one that did the murder, not her. She's being charged with withholding information.

3. This happened right across the street
From where my partner's Mom works. Hickman is a very small, very rural area - freaky stuff indeed.

7. What I always wonder....
When people under the age of 18 are accused of crimes they have to be tried as adults, and the RW bleats about law and order and responsiblity.
When the RW wants to stop adults from doing something they disapprove of, all the same people are "the innocent children who must be protected and nurtured".

Can you say "hypocrisy"?

9.  12 y/o Mentally Disabled Boy Accused Of Killing Infant Nephew
Another very sad story.........

http://www.wnbc.com/news/4657343/detail.html

A 12-year-old boy was charged Tuesday with killing his infant nephew outside the Gloucester County home where both children lived, along with four other children and six adults.

Authorities say he woke up early Monday -- sometime between 6 and 7:30 a.m. -- and took the baby, 1-month-old Zachary Giacobbe, outside. The boy threw the baby up in the air and at one point either stepped on or fell on the infant's head, causing his death, authorities said. An autopsy showed the baby had a fractured skull, leg and rib.

The 12-year-old then tossed the baby into an aboveground pool in the yard of the Franklin Township home, said Gloucester County Prosecutor Sean F. Dalton. The baby's mother discovered him in the pool.

On April 30, police asked the state Division of Family and Youth Services to look at living conditions in the home, said the prosecutor and a spokesman for the state agency. Police believed there was no electricity in the house. DYFS investigators learned that there was power from a generator and declared the home was habitable for the five children living there.
