Tell everyone that you're not a terrorist!
Okay, my CafePress store is up and running, and I understand that some might find this ad dubious at best, but I think it fits in here well. I hear about lots of people getting harassed for their George Bush/International Terrorist t-shirts, so I've decided to make my own to get around that problem.

http://www.cafeshops.com/notterrorists

The We're Not Terrorists store so far has two great shirts that not only let you express your feelings toward *, but also removes any suspicion! No longer can cops say you're acting suspicious when you're actually wearing a shirt that says "NOT A TERRORIST" or "NOT SUSPICIOUS," that still says "I hate George Bush." Be a smartass and back these guys into a corner.

Also, if you guys do buy anything, I'll pop $1 towards DU for each purchase. I hope that helps. :)

1. Why should we have to defend our political views
and wear a T Shirt confirming we're not terrorists? By doing so, gives creedence to the ludicrous charge in the first place. I admire your ambitious enterprise here but feel you would be far more successful if you put the GOP on the defense, not us.

3. It's not being defensive, it's being ironic.
If people get harassed for wearing a t-shirt with Bush and the word "terrorist" on it, then get told it's because the word "terrorist" is there, why not work it the other way around? How can they say you're suspicious if you're wearing a t-shirt that proudly proclaims you're not, but STILL says you hate Bush? It pigeonholes these corrupt SOBs into either letting you go or outright admitting it's a political issue.

And Displaced Texan, thank you so much! You're my first sale. :) You've made it on the short list of "Things That Make Texas Suck Less," up there with Molly Ivins, Warren Spector, and my buddy Mike. Thanks. :)

Soon as money comes in, *plunk* a $1 to DU. :)
