Open Letter to Robert "Piece of Shit" Kaiser:
Dear Fuckface,

I know you're a big-time Washington Post reporter and all that, and I know you're so special that you were sent to Finland to bore your readers silly with some cultural fluff that almost no one in the real world has the time or energy, much less the inclination, to pay attention to.

So I guess it's really OK for you to insult a reader who expected real news out of the Post in the following http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/discussion/2005/06/06/DI2005060600529.html">fashion:
Finland Diary

Robert G. Kaiser and Lucian PerkinsWashington Post Associate Editor and Post Photographer
Tuesday, June 7, 2005; 1:00 PM

Washington Post associate editor Robert G. Kaiser and Post staff photographer Lucian Perkins have been touring Finland for the past few weeks. Their goal: to find out why this rarely noticed little country has the world's best educational system, produces talented musicians and architects and has more cell phones per capita than Japan or America. Kaiser and Perkins have been chronicling their trip for washingtonpost.com in Finland Diary
<snip>

Bethesda, Md.: On the other hand, while you were cavorting about in Finland, your newspaper was busy ignoring further evidence (via the Downing St. memo) that our president fixed the Iraq info around his policies. What's up with that?

Robert G. Kaiser: What's up with you? Can you read? Did you read Walter Pincus's excellent journalism on that memo?
Since your reader wasn't really afforded the chance to answer your Kindergarten Komment, let me do it for him.

"What's up with" Bethesda is most likely what's up with the rest of us - simmering anger at a piece of unelected filth who lied us into a pointless war with the active connivance of a corrupt press corp that flatly REFUSED to tell the truth about his lies.

"Can you read?" What are you, Kaiser, a three year-old kid playing reporter? Here's something I'll bet Bethesda might say in the unlikely event he still thought you were worth communicating with:

"Let me explain something to you, cockroach. It's OUR country too. We want information, not bullshit. So you can take your snotty attitude and shove it right back up your ass where it came from. I browsed yer silly travelog for all the time it was worth and all can say is, where do I go to get my 15 seconds back?"

Not just Bethesda but Lisle, IL and San Diego and Chicago and Atlanta and New York would give you the same answer, although they might not be as nice about it.

The Post used to uncover corruption. Now, based on your attitude and tthe general lack of reporting about the DSM, you defend it with your lives. How absolutely repellent.

Sincerely,

Jim Sagle
Lisle, IL
