Why isn't this type of action being done with regard to Bin Laden??
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/06/24/AR2005062400484_pf.html

"Italian authorities said Friday they have issued arrest warrants against 13 American intelligence operatives, charging that they kidnapped a radical Islamic cleric as he walked to a mosque here two years ago, held him hostage at two U.S. military bases and then covertly flew him to Cairo. He later said he was tortured by Egyptian security police."

...They can get small time crooks but Bin Laden is untouchable?

1. Um...national sovereignty
Hopefully all of those agents will be caught and tried for kidnapping.

2. Good for Italy! I hope they are able to catch them too
The US could have issued warrants and treated a criminal offense like a criminal offense....but the war mongers wanted something different.

3. Exactly, if Italian secret agents

grabbed a religous leader on his way to church, off the streets of New York Americans would have a fit. Especially if they then dumped him off in Egypt to be tortured.

4. As I recall there are warrants
outstanding in New York on bin Laden from the 1993 WTC bombing. Probably some federal warrants, too.
