While we can have a little hope that BushCo's lies are coming into focus in the press, we must remember that these guys are really good at using the news media. So far, they have managed to contain the damage by focusing on "16 little words" and the larger issue of whether there was any factual basis for going to war is continuing to be ignored.
I support Dean wholeheartedly but this weekend he sounded a bit too self-congratulatory, patting himself on the back for not supporting the war. He (and every Democrat) should use this opportunity to ask what else the Bush Regime lied to us about (which is to say, everything). If this story does not bring Bush's deceptions to light, the "16 little words" will die on the vine.
And I'm still waiting for someone to ask why this document was created and by whom. Forgery, my butt. Any honest reporter would refer to the Niger uranium document as a plant, as in "A person or thing put into place in order to mislead or function secretly" and not a forgery.
