I wrote a lot of reasons,
I erased them, because It doesn't make any sense, I'm tired to complain, I don't see Americans standing next to each other and PROTEST

All I want to say is, we moved to the USA in 1996 (mid of the Olympics) and everybody back in Germany said: Wow, you are going to the USA, how lucky you must be!!!!!.......

Now back to Germany, they ask all the time: why in the world are you living there???!!!, when are you coming back????

We still wait for better times, before we will say, this was a try, we go back to Europe(Swiss) and try something else!

By the way, we belong to those investors, which the country is not exactly want to loose..................!!!!!

Here in Georgia we paid taxes in the last few years, it's more than their budged.........OK it told you more than I should, but I'm a member of DU and I want you to know, that we still want to live in USA, because we separate the people we relay do love and this Government, we just can't like and hope, there will be a change soon.

Ask me all the questions you want, I just tell you, 9 years ago, when we moved, all of our European friends where jealous and now they feel sorry for us!!!!!

Copy and pasting will probably be the easiest way for you to see the replies posted to your thread.

When you are in the body of your post use Ctrl A to highlight the entire post. Then use Ctrl C to copy it and when you begin a new post in the General Forum just use Ctrl X to paste it in the block rather than retyping it.

5. USA - not as bad as some people think

It is true that the perception of the USA has changed in recent years. However, maybe things are not as bad as people perceive them to be.

My family is about half German descent, so, I'm not saying anything against Germans ... they've added a lot to our nation's heritage ... however, we never produced a Hitler who tried to annihilate the Jews.

Oh, I guess the Germany of today says it never happened.

Exxon is like that about the oil spill up here in Valdez. "Never was an oil spill" that's what they hope people think some day. They have a 2 hour video of the oil business & development from the pipeline construction in 1970's to today's wonderful new shipping fleet for transporting the oil. They charge $15 a person to see it. And not a single sentence about there even being an oil spill in 1989. Is that very honest?
