Rove Is Worse Than Hitler (If That's Possible)
Edited on Fri Jun-24-05 07:33 PM by Beetwasher
Or at least his equal if given the opportunity. Given the opportunity (and he might be), Rove is such a vile scumbag, he would outdo Hitler's atrocities in a heartbeat. Rove, in his blackest soul, yearns to exterminate billions and billions. I firmly believe he is not only capable of it, he would relish the opportunity. I think that's his philosophy and he should defend it.

2. Can we stop it with the Hitler crap?
I'm really getting tired of that...jeesh.

Why don't you go with Joe McArthy. They're both fat men who can turn regular Americans in to traitors in a matter of one finger point.

But enough, Enough, ENOUGH with Hitler!

At his worst, he's on a par with Goebbels.

10. I Disagree
I think given the opportunity he wouldn't hesitate to slaughter billions. Goebbel's, Hitler, there pretty much as equally evil anyway, IMO. Rove's job may be more akin to Goebbel's as far as we know at this point, but that's just splitting hairs really.

17. He's not going to have the opportunity
Therefore, the comparison is quite absurd. If he becomes President, which I doubt will ever come to pass, then we can talk about this further.

They are all as equally guilty and as vilely evil, IMO. Rove, Cheney, Chimpy, Hitler, Goebbel's, not much difference.

18. Yes, and it gets a bit tiresome, too
Hitler and the Nazis set a standard for evil that will not be surpassed for a long time. One can fall far short of that standard and still be evil.

The question about Bush and the neoconservatives is not whether they are as bad as Hitler and the Nazis, because they aren't. The question is whether they are bad enough to warrant the rest of humanity rising to oppose them tooth and nail. They are.

And the answer, IMO, is yes, much worse. Imagine Hitler w/ nukes.

25. You are merely speculating
The Nazis had 11 million victims. So far, the most liberal estimates give the neocons about 100K.

And since the only way you can be proved right conclusively is for the neocons to unleash a nuclear holocaust on the world, let's hope your reasoning remains speculative.

In any case, for my money, the argument is ridiculous. Even if they're not as bad as the Nazis, they should be tried for war crimes and thrown in prison with the key thrown away.

27. It's My Opinion
Never said otherwise...That argument about how many victims Hitler had is morally bankrupt though. You can wait until Rove/Chimpy has 11 million victims. I can tell already they wouldn't blink at that. And they have nukes.

20. Using "Hitler" too much, creates a tolerance for the term.
Personally, I think that we view Rove in the wrong context. He's not a policy guy. He's not a legislation guy. He's all about winning. My guess is that he's pretty boring when he's not competing, and overbearing when he is in competition.

If he played chess or poker, he would cheat. I wouldn't doubt that he used other people's work in college classes. With him, the end justifies the means. Not good in a democracy, but were stuck with the system we have.

13. Come on
that's comparing rotten apples to rotten oranges. As to outscoring Hitler
it remains to be seen whether the damage done to the human future simply puts the Bush waste into another league- namely brainless extinction of the species, the death of billions, for which no inner bestiality or psychosis can hope to compete on a smaller level.

24. Who is worse: Karl Rove, Ted Bundy, or Adolf Hitler?
The answer: The three of them have absolutely nothing to do with each other, so comparing them is meaningless. Stick with comparing Rove with other ruthless political strategists.
Instead of shouting "Hitler!", I think that Lee Atwater would be an appropriate person comparison Rove with. Atwater was every bit as immoral as Rove in the way he waged a campaign; he never failed to use racism to win elections.

On what basis do you think that Rove would be worse than Hitler? Do you think that he would not have been satisfied with the killing of 6 million Jews but would have needed to kill 7 million to be happy? You have absolutely no basis for your argument. Baseless comparisons such as these only serve to undermine any legitimate point which you may have been making.

29. Basis For My Argument?
I'm not writing a thesis. It's my opinion, never said otherwise. My basis is just as valid as Rove's when he calls us terrorist supporters.
