2. question
Who is Scooter Libby? Only name on the list I have not heard of before. Also it is kind of dumb to put Zell Miller under Democrat anymore.

5. Clinton did not serve, but.....
I believe he was in the draft lottery. Drew a high number. Never drafted. Ergo: He could've served! Can anyone corraborate this?

8. Clinton is my age, so he was put in the lottery after college (Dec 1969)
However, he did agree to enter advanced ROTC in order to obtain a deferment prior to that. I can't remember all of the story, but the letter he sent to the ROTC officer made all the repuke talk shows in the early 1990s.

Copy the chickenhawk list and mail it out.

10. Clintons Draft Record
Clinton was against the war on moral grounds. He sent a letter to the draft board advising them of his objections. Upon his return from London he withdrew his objection and registered for the draft. He was given a high lottery number and was never in any real danger of being drafted. At least he registered for the draft and did not seek 6 deferments like Cheney did.
