Poll question: Bush*: Divider or Uniter?
bush* came out yesterday and blamed everything on the Democratic Party once again. (Of course, Rove's remarks didn't help to bridge any bi-partisan reconciliation either.)

over the past 5 years - there have been many wedge issues dividing us by race, religion, sexual orientation, and economic positions et. al.

during the 2000 campaign - bush* said he was a uniter.

is he a uniter or not?

1. No poll needed, the answer is OBVIOUS!
I just keep wondering when the rest of America will wake up with a huge fucking hangover and recognize what's right in front of their faces.

6. some are waking up
others just drink the kook-aid and go back to sleep...

the only point where bush* has high numbers and the country appeared to be united was just after 9-11. Since then, we've been divided into many pieces over various issues...

United we stand, Divided we fall - the bushies* are well versed in how to keep us divided

3. Both, in some freaky sort of way
He has divided the country in an unprecedented way.

But he has united the Regressive fundie whackjobs, the gun freaks, the money grubbers, the homophobes, the warmongers, the anti-choice, etc. with one another.

Simultaneously he has united the Progressive/Liberal peace lovers, environment lovers, the truly pro-life, those for true freedom of religion/spirituality, freedom of sexual orientation, etc. with one another.

Will the opposing parties be able to meet in the middle ever again? Hard to say. It would be nice not to be battling all of the time, but I don't know if it will happen.

4. Does that question even need to be asked...
this country is more divided than any time since the civil war. Thanks to Mr. "uniter, not a divider" bush.
The only thing he's succeeded in uniting, the world against us. We're the most hated country in the world, and that includes some VERY heady competition. Thanks, Dumbya! You've succeeded in making the United States the world's pariah.
George Bush is the mother of all tools.
