NPR - should I call in my pledge or just leave the money on the pillow?
How am supposed to listen to NPR in the shower in the morning if I get out feeling so dirty?

I pledge to give even MORE to NPR the next fund drive and every drive after that. Why? To keep it as far off of the gov't teet as possible and keep it alive so that WHEN we win back the WH there will be enough left to inject the integrity back in that the GOP sucked out of it today.

1. Personally, I've thrown in the towel on NPR.
I just don't listen to them anymore. Maybe others value it enough to continute supporting, but it's gotten so watered-down over the past 5 years, it's not of value to me.

2. I understand, I almost gave up too...
but it's the only thing on the morning radio that doesn't make me cringe from the horribly unfunny morning DJs to the repetitive music.

4. One solution
is to pledge during some of their more progressive programming - such as This American Life or Infinite Mind. I've heard they pay attention to when in their programming donations are made.
