Some repubs must have voted against cloture. So why is this Gregory guy saying "The Democrats have done it again!"

12. You have it reversed....54 senators voted to end the debate.....
...they needed 60 votes. FWIW, one Republican did vote NOT to end the debate...Voinovich.

8. I'm ecstatic!
I didn't think it would happen, as I was watching a part of it.

HOWEVER, Bush is just going to appoint him anyway, during recess. And Congress won't have a thing to say about it. I do think, tho, that even a lot of REpugs won't like that.
