1. That thought is never far from my mind.

I trying to talk reason to myself since Cheney is really into it for the money and control. If you have nuclear annihilation, you don't have anyone or any money to control. I don't think he's a wack job as much as just pure evil. But then, you can be so insane that if you can't have it and you can't take it with you, then nobody will have it. BOOM! A very real fear.

A totally random thought that was tickling my brain last night as I drifted off to sleep was that we have a JR Ewing wanna-be as our pResident. That would make Pickles Sue Ellen, and I drifted off to sleep trying to fit the rest of the admin in. You know, some of the chars on Dallas were much more human then their current political counterparts. The American people hated Dallas and JR but couldn't stop watching and here we are living it now.

Guess that's what I get from reading DU right before I go to bed.

There is the common misconception around here that Bush can wake up grouchy one day and decide to push the red button. Doesn't work that way. Lots and lots of prodedural safeguards on those things. And the military doesn't work that way either.
