Poll question: Poll: How competent do you view the Bush Administration ?
IS there anyone else in America that could do a better job than Bush and Cheney are doing at this time?

1. They have ruined America's brand. Only extended empathy by
lefties will save America from becoming a pariah.

5. They're very competent AND they've screwed America
America isn't what they're fighting for, it's the corporate oligarchy.

7. Regime Change at home is the only answer...

Sooner the better. Maybe there's something salvageable by denouncing Bush et al.
Actions will speak volumns to the world..since our word has been completely fuckin* lost on Bush's lies.

People need to start giving a shit about this stuff and it needs to happen ASAP.

8. Why hasn't the media bothered to point out the incompetence?
Just because Bush and that destined-for-hell Rove preen and strut around over their tactical "victories," the press ascribes competence to them. These vindictive churls have bankrupted the company, guaranteed the U.S. decades of strife overseas, made the U.S. more enemies than it can count, and created a level of animosity in Congress that defies belief. So much for the "uniter, not a divider" claim.

Oh, and the "mission accomplished" bit? Since when does creating porous borders, permitting the trashing of the cultural and achaelogical sites of a nation, allowing the looting of weapons sites, and priming the pump for civil war count as "victory"?

Historians will not be kind to this lot.

9. They have screwed America - but....
I don't think they are incompetent. Things seem to be going well for them - just not for anyone else.

Determining who would do a better job would require an outline of the goals one would hope to achieve.

If you are extremely wealthy, you can't ask for much more than what you already have under Bush. If you're not wealthy, it would be relatively easy to find someone better.

11. I would not lie to Americans, I would not favor the rich over
the hungry, sick and disadvantaged.
I would get us the fuck out of Iraq and send Bush and his Reich to Abu Ghraib for their sumptous chicken dinners Repub hacks refer to.

12. Depends on who you're talking about
Some people are better off, others are not. The important people seem to be doing ok, and the rabble not so much(as it should be). That's why we're the rabble.
