Listening to this morning's talking head on cspan
It just continues to fascinate me at how these people keep refusing to see and admit that Bush has created a new Islamic state. They keep thinking that if we stay in someone else's country, they'll "see the light" and give up their attempts to control their own country and their own destiny according to their own beliefs and values, not ours.

2. It amazes me, too
They're the same people who think we're failing because we didn't put in enough 'boots on the ground'. They'll never understand that people hate us and resist us for legitimate reasons.

4. I don't think it matters how many boots we put on the ground.
We made a serious mistake in Iraq.

5. peter allowed a question about the DSM!!--but Jeffery White-downplayed
the minutes -this was at the beginning of the discussion. White basically said--he is not suprizing that planning was taking place.

6. They must have been so wrapped up in the flag that they didn't
see all the bloody insanity that you and I have seen, out of the power crazed stampeding neocon warlords around the WH and the Pentagon. Too busy trashing democrats, to have seen or heard anything about the sorry state of our country. Too busy to have noticed the American Dream die for most Americans, since December of 2000! So wrapped up in the flag that their senses fail to register things like Abu Ghraib and over 1,700 dead American patriots.
