2. There are still quite a few people who think Nixon was GREAT!
Some supporters just follow blindly, whatever their beloved leader says. Don't worry about it. The majority of the American people won't feel that way. If and when this mess becomes a full blown "watergate like" scandal, Shrub will fry.

5. And such people aren't worth knowing.
Individuals are what make this country great.

Not programmed robots.

Not corporate masters.

3. Being hoaxed into war
doesn't compare with being hoaxed about a private sexual encounter. I mean, which one is worse? The famous freeper logic, I guess. Pathetic. Disgusting.

Sorry, but that is how I feel. Yet they continue to make the people who want the truth out to be un-American!

15. Don't apologize, its true. They are Republicans first, Americans second.
If supporting the Republican agenda as it is told to them screws America, so be it. How can they be true Americans?

about the DSM?

Regardless of whether the public was deceived or not, it's for the good of the country and we should support the President. Our enemies are watching all of this gleefully, plotting their next attack.

I bet this same person pushed for Clinton's impeachment. Over something that had no effect on the direction of this country. But, he says, lies that have needlessly cost thousands of lives & billions of taxpayers' money is for the good of the country.

Thank the corporate media propaganda & all the radio hate programs for that warped sense of values.

13. You need to get your facts straight
Edited on Sat Jun-18-05 09:37 PM by jamesinca
it is liberal media bias

it is an old argument that is just being rehashed

everybody knew the WMD did not exist

it was bad intelligence and he was only working with what was given
( I am not sure if Bush is referring to himself on this one)

he and the Pope agreed to disagree on a few things

it is strictly partisan politics and that is very unpatriotic during a time of war or national crisis

the Dem's are just being obstructionist

he speaks with god

he has a mandate

So please before you come in here with all of that liberal hate speech you need to get your facts straight. Let me make a few suggestions in case you don't know of any truth telling places 1)FOX cable news 2)any dissertation, printed material, interview, speech, presentation or website posting by Jeff Gannon 3) Free Republic website 4) any of the syndicated factual, researched, balanced articles by George Will 5) The CATO institute or American Enterprise Institute has volumes of material that will help to guide your life toward truth and righteousness 6)Washington Times it is a wholsome paper that embraces a culture of life that is important to Christians and Americans.

(Sarcasm and lots of it)

Doing any sweating, bleeding, or crying. Closest thing to a sacrifice for them is waiting an extra week for the tax refund to arrive in the mail.

I swear churches are preaching this stuff...they've boughten into the 700 club ticket to paradise...they are all going to heaven because of 'us'. We are the great sinners they can point to, as a reason for their existence. They LIVE for 'us'. bwahhhaaaah bwahaaa (I'm feeling diabolical tonight)

18. It's not what Bush *DOES* that's important to a freeper...
...it's who Bush *IS* that's important. That's why he can lie and get away with it, even when they know he's lying. On a gut level, the difference between a president and a king simply doesn't register with freepers, and "the king can do no wrong."

Of course, this ONLY applies to Republican presidents! It's obvious that freepers see the worst Republican as somehow more "American" and/or more "Christian" than the best Democrat. They always see Democrats as borderline commies no matter what, and yeah...in their minds, fascism (or corporatism) is more "American" than communism. NOT that they'd ever admit it, of course.

I'm not claiming to understand this mindset--I'm just saying this is what I've observed.

20. Sounds like something I heard from Al Franken:
Conservatives love America like a three year old loves Mommy: Mommy is absolutely right and can do nothing wrong.

Liberals have a more adult-like love for America: the ability to recognize fault, and the patience and kindness to confront and fix those faults.
