In addition:
Police found the bodies of 11 people in two towns in the so-called Triangle of Death on Thursday, an official said. The corpses of five family members were discovered at a farm in Musayyib, about 40 miles south of Baghdad, said police spokesman Capt. Muthana Khalid.

A group of armed men wearing police uniforms broke into the family's house Wednesday and pretended to arrest them but later killed them, Khalid said. The victims were tortured, he said.

Just the other day, another attack was carried out by someone wearing an Iraqi uniform. Obviously they have access to uniforms as well as munitions (which the US didn't bother to guard sufficiently early on), and are well organized. As in Vietnam, our soldiers can't know who the "enemy" is, nor do they know how many factions are fighting others or what their motivations are, not only the three main sects but also smaller groups.

I don't see how this can be "won." :(

1. PS -- Rate the article up!
I can't believe the stupid "Support the Troops" Bushlovers rate down the truth, every time.

2. Just another day in paradise.
At least we can use all those roses they threw at us when we invaded to lay at the feet of the graves of our boys.

3. Right. It shows how much we're "succeeding" there.
We're making progress, so they're getting desperate, etc....

4. It's the "failed" insurgency that Hillary told us about.
The one that has "no popular support" among the Iraqi people. The one that are heroic miltary keeps telling us it has defeated.

The one that's winning the war.

5. Don't worry, now that some conservatives are speaking against the war
all our troubles are over.

:sarcasm:
