4. Yes - Richard Cheney
I went looking for some insight into why Cheney would lash out at the relationship between Howard Dean and his mother (eg. Cheney: "Maybe his mother loved him, but I've never met anybody who does.") My first thought was is Howard Dean's mother alive since Cheney uses the past tense -- "loved". So I started looking for info and I'm still looking. I haven't found anything that says Dean's mother has passed but it is still an unusually school-yard, mean-spirited remark. My next thought was 'what was/is Cheney relationship with HIS own mother and I have yet to find a bio on him that mentions either of his parents but I did find the info here.

More of Cheney's damage:
Championed Donald Rumsfeld for Defense Secretary
"insisted, over fierce objections by Secretary of State Colin L. Powell, on placing Paul Wolfowitz in the number two position at the Pentagon"
"insisted, again over Powell's misgivings, on making ultra-unilateralist John Bolton, then vice-president of the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), undersecretary of state for arms control and international security.

3. Could be any one of many Repugs but if you are trying to surprise us.....
...I'd guess the answer your looking for is McCain. I could add to this list of evilness.

like voting against EVERY Democrat (read: real) minimum wage increase law.... including the one that increased it from 4.75 to 5.15...

voted for John Ashcroft and Jesse Helms EVERY TIME to eliminate the National Endowment for the Arts several times in the nineties, etc.
