Oooooo.... We sound so ...SUBVERSIVE!!!
...this discussion takes place elsewhere, at Dailykos, at the Huffington Post, at TPM, at Eschaton, at Liberal Osis, at 1,000 other “points of light” where Democrats gather around small virtual campfires to feel their shared victimhood and plot their political revenge.

This line comes from this post about Howard Deanhere, titled _A Master Politician at Work_ by Dana Blankenthorne.

Very good article, but I was intrigued by the characterization that all our websites are the equivalent of a thousand campfires of people coming together to commune over their shared oppression and lack of power and to plot and scheme against those who are responsible. I have never thought about it that way, but I can see the truth in it.

It makes me happy to think about. I wonder if Bush sees all these little fires popping up across the country from his White House perch and worries about when the townfolk might be coming for him.

1. Kind of reminds me of the 60's & 70's
when protest was a way life and little fires burned all across this country!!

Let's keep them burning...

2. I'm sure he does
that's why he and his cabal are looking at "regulating" the internets.
Code words will be needed in the future at this rate.

7.  I see it more as the Patriots are assembling
to take back the Constitution from the barbarians.

The irony is: It was patriots who fought the British to free themselves from the British yoke and now it is the British, via their press, helping the patriots to free their country from those who would destroy it.

10. Collective thinking
There is a process of collective thinking. One guy says, "Let's call it Bush's War" and everyone starts calling the war in Iraq an illegal war and then you get "Bu$h's War is illegal" on bumperstickers. As new information comes and is mixed with collective thought as people work on the puzzle of true reality you get collective conclusions.
