Wouldn't holding Democratic Underground Meetups be cool? I am just thinking tonight about how to establish a well-established national anti-Bush network of wired activists and guerilla marketeers...

...we need to establish a national anti-bush activist network that mirrors and would obviously contain the same people as the national pro-Dem candidate activist network but would be technically separate from so as to be able to in your face and "shocking" in order to mobilize the disaffected and to create cognitive dissonance but by being officially separate from the democratic campaign, we would not tarnish the official campaign with the below the belt mud slinging the anti-bush network would be doing... we would, be in effect the 'militant wing' of the Democratic Party, doing the dirty work.

We need network... there are SO many anti - bush sites and various efforts on the web... this can be both a good and bad thing... it can be good if there is a sense of community and common purpose, a sharing of resources, good communication.... it can be bad when people put pride above common purpose. Now I guess I am talking about something a little different than DU meetups here but it is really the same thing I am talking about here... Building both a cyber network and extending that into the "brick and mortar" world... it seems to me that the meetup folks have a wonderful recipe for bridging those two worlds.
