In case you didn't know, Dobson's trojan-horse "Focus on Your Family" website has purchased ad time on Supernanny. Don't watch. Email the network and tell them why.

1. I'm Sure That Nanny Jo Would Severely Disapprove of This:
"Minor pain can ... provide excellent motivation for the child ... There is a muscle, lying snugly against the base of the neck ... When firmly squeezed, it sends little messengers to the brain saying, 'This hurts; avoid recurrence at all costs.'"

4. There are glands, right between Mr. Dobson's legs, that when kicked
with my steel-toed combat boots, send little messengers to his brain saying, "Oh, God, IconCat is going to pee on me now that I'm doubled over in pain! Phhhht! Phhht! Wait... I kind of like this!"

5. Follow that up with a karate chop to the baroreceptors...
in the carotid artery on both sides of the neck, and it's STFU and behave time for Dr. Dobson.

What a slimeball. I can't believe that Jo "The Supernanny" Frost knows or would approve of this. Her discipline style is very nonviolent.

3. If I'd E-mail them & told them why I don't watch
It'd have nothing to do with those ads. I'm just not interested in the whole premise of the show.

6. The show is actually quite good
Why they would allow colonic bacteria like Dobson to advertise on their program, I have no idea.
