Rightwing lunatics sowing seeds of destruction of Republican Party
"You may fool all the people some of the time, you can even fool some of the people all of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all the time."...Abraham Lincoln

Delusional and disconnected from reality - an accurate description of the modern day Republican Party. From domestic policy to foreign policy, one lie or misrepresentation of the facts after another.

The truth is going to catch up to them, and soon.

When it does, Watergate will look like child's play.

Not only is the Bush administration waging war based on lies in Iraq, it is waging war on the truth and to that end, the American people.

1. I don't want to see the Republican Party destroyed, I want it restored
A viable opposition is essential to our Democracy. Having one party broken down to the point where it cannot function does not do the other party any good, rather it puts the ruling party in a position where it can become complacent and greedy.

3. This party of crooks, liars, cheats, bigots and warmongers needs
to be utterly destroyed and a stake driven through it's heart. It is beyond redemption. A new opposition party can arise, free of the taint of their history of lies and corruption.

6. Hey, you're talkin' 'bout my MAMA!
Actually my mom quit the GOP several years ago (1998 IIRC) because it had been taken over by religious wackos and right-wingers. It is no longer the party of Eisenhower or Goldwater.

I think it's already destroyed but like a Zombie doesn't realize it and keeps walking. Sooner or later it will fall apart on its own.

5. Their aura of superiority is unearned. It is easily shattered by reading
1. End Time Delusions by Steven Wohlberg. Their end time belief system is a fraud.

2. Perfectly Legal by David Cay Johnston. Their self supporting tax system for the wealthiest, at the expense of everyone else, has to go.

3. Wealth and Democracy by Kevin Phillips. The US economic empire is collapsing due to being 'top heavy' with concentrated wealth in the hands of a very few.

When you add all that up, you get populace ready for change, and not a minute too soon.
