She has a fairly safe seat right now, and she may not want to give that up for the uncertainty of a Senate race. If she doesn't run, Byrd will likely win in a walk.

Byrd needs to retain his seat for the good of democracy. He has fought longer and harder for this country than any one else I can think of. Watch for them to play the age card and the ignominious return of the KKK thing.

Capito is the daughter of a crook, and the apple didn't fall too far from the tree in her case. She, like all of DeLay's cronies, are cancer to this country.
