3. I still like calling them "those old maids in pants"
because the description of the nervous types who are horrified about what other people might think is so appropriate.

My only quibble is that Dean left out one important word: "Mens'" It's the White Christian Mens' Party.

Everybody else has to know their place.

2. I do think Dean will ultimately get respect for fighting back.
The Dems are by now universally considered underdogs. Everybody likes to see the underdog fight back. The bullies have a fight on their hands. There's life in our party yet! I hope he continues to stand his ground.

6. We must never underestimate how bad the EFFECT of *Co compared to
practically any other brand. We are at an historical crossroads. *Co. is hurting our country. They will hurt is more, put it in more danger, make it poorer. It is not time to be governed by what is "nice".

9. It's really our only weapon, they OWN everything else.
Look at today's news. They are ALTERING the global warming reports. They are letting the tobacco industry off by reducing their penalty from 130 BILLION to 10 BILLION. Criminal. Not to mention the WAR.

10. Dean doesn't wear a pink tutu like Biden or Lieberman.
Edited on Wed Jun-08-05 04:10 PM by Rex
Dean cuts out the bullshit and gets down to the truth.

11. I remember everyone saying Dean should cool it on the war.
If Kerry had had the balls Dean had on Iraq, he might be president right now.

12. Dean wouldn't give in and vote yes on the IWR
and he was right! Look at the mess in Iraq now! If other party members would have stood up to Bush and said HELL NO we will not invade Iraq, what a different world it would be today. 1600+ families would be celebrating holidays with their children/father/mother instead of visiting tombstones. :(
