They hoped to have 800 people sign up at a cost of $1,000 to $1,600 each! The cruise was called something totally lame like "Battle for America." "Unfortunately, there was not enough interest" and the cruise was cancelled.

The CSPAN host read from an article in a NYC paper. (The Daily News?)

Who the hell would pay that much money to entrap themselves on a cruise ship with Mr. Falafel? Geez.
