The DLC is using what is left of their media influence to attack Dean
instead of the Repukes.

It's pretty outrageous.

1. It is totally disgusting. I'm sickened by it.
We have a historic shot at the soft-white underbelly of the beast, and our side is whining that we're being too mean. What the bloody hell is going on? Do we LIKE being perpetual losers???????

5. That's political capital that they don't really get back, either.
Could have been used to bolster Dean and attack the Repukes. But no...

2. What did Richardson, Biden, or Edwards say about the DSM?
About the stolen election?
About the lies of 9/11?

Better to attack Dean I guess.

6. The DLC are losers, Dean is a winner.
They like to lose. I'm sure they all live in towns with losing
sports teams, lose jobs, help their constitutents tolose jobs, lose
elections, lose the senate, lose the presidency and lose the country.

THe DLC's opposition is the sign that DEAN IS A WINNER!!! a good sign.

10. No
Read what Edwards actually said. (It's on the dailyKos blog, although it may no longer be on the front page.) He says in the aftermath that, even though he thinks Dean's exact wording was a little intemperate, he agrees with the essence of what Dean said.

As he should, since it's the logical inference from his Two Americas thesis: the American worker gets ripped off by the plutocrat class, which then has the luxury to tighten the shackles on the rest of us.

12. Without arguing that, what about Biden, Richardson, Salazar and
Nelson?

14. Some of them
represent conservative Southern constituencies and are playing to their base. I'm certain of that re Richardson and Nelson.

My gut feeling on Biden is, he's a tool. I was about to say something to the effect of How he got to be an elder spokesman is beyond me, but then, that answers itself: the media looks for Democrats that reliably attack other (more partisan) Democrats, and now that Godzella's out of the picture, Biden will be at the front of everybody's Rolodex. (My opinion, and worth what you paid for it.)

11. You are exactly right!!! I think we are getting a taste of the fight
for the soul of the Democratic party.

A tremendous amount of money was raised for the party in the period right after Dean took over the chair.

He knows it, we know it, and he knows we are out here at the grassroots fighting.

The DLC are patting themselves on the back for the supposedly bi-partisan deal that will give this country Janice Rogers Brown sitting for a life time appointment.

I am going to contact Bieden et. al, and tell them they are not winning points when they dis Dean.

13. Putting on the tinfoil hat now
Sometimes I get the feeling that the DLC are freeps in disguise, or at least, being paid by them to be trouble makers. I don't know, maybe I'm being too paranoid, but I go by my gut feeling and I don't like the feeling I'm getting about this.

15. Yeah, I've been feeling FABULOUS watching Brown & Owen get confirmed
As fabulous as being pummeled in the gut repeatedly.
I'm sure that feeling will only be surpassed by watching BOLTON sail in as our nat'l representative to the UN.

But, other "Dems" tell me we are being too mean to those warm and fuzzy republicans!

And here I thought it was those cuddly repubs that have been demonizing "liberals" my whole life!
