GM to cut 25,000 jobs by '08

http://money.cnn.com/2005/06/07/news/fortune500/gm_closings/index.htm?cnn=yes

"The 25,000 jobs represent about 17 percent of GM's U.S. work force"
"GM also announced plans to buy more components from suppliers outside the United States..."

1. Yeah, if you have time to notice this ...
it's just because you're lazy and not working hard enough. God will never bless you with material things that way! Get a job! Don't read the news. If you can't find a job, it's your fault for watching the "Daily Show".

Move along. Nothing to see here.

3. Someone quoted Hanity the other day. His idea to get rid of poverty was
"Get a Job". Well that settles it. 115% of unemployed people are lazy and wish for handouts and its all liberals/medias fault. Never mind the 100+ resumes that I've sent out. I must be a lazy pile of poop.

About three months ago a guy on DU that had been unemployed like years asked "When you have a graduate degree in computer science, what do you retrain for?"

Cuts like a knife, doesn't it?

7. A large portion of the people I graduated with
have gone back to grad school. It was real depressing thinking i was almost done and seeing the same people who were supposed to get "real" jobs back in school.
