BBV: Study recommending California recall delay was funded by... Sequoia
One of the arguments the ACLU used to file its lawsuit {to halt the recall} was based upon the contention that the "punch card ballots are flawed and that minorities will be disenfranchised."... {T}he study was funded by Sequoia Voting Systems, a major provider of touch-screen voting machines, now actively seeking additional contracts to install its equipment in California counties..."

1. This is scary
I never knew whether to be for the Recall delay or not. This certainly suggests maybe not.

2. Nice catch -- Sequoia also funded legislation
in California to get rid of punch cards. Over $100k, I believe.

5. Sequoia was knocked out of Ohio
then filed suit and was put back on the list by the SOS. Have seen other indications that Diebold and ES&S are trying to keep Sequoia out of the competition. Perhaps the Urosovich boys are ganging up on them. This would explain why Sequoia is greasing palms with money right now.
