CBS lead off story with John Roberts... Michael Jackson.
So I turned it to NBC... At least their lead off story, an airliner whose hijack beeper had gone off erroneously had some value.

4. At one time
network news had foreign correspondents and had news stories for the whole half hour, what dreck they have now.

5. The fabulous Jack'o
WHo needs other news with such an IMPORTANT story at the forefront! I certainly would rather know every dirty gossipy detail about the FABULOUS JACKO than matters of war, peace and prosperity!!

6. I'm totally disgusted; other than a short profile of
a dead soldier, not one iota of anything Iraqi related has been mentioned. It's all fluff.

7. To all of the above.
I keep hoping that, if nothing else, the advertisers are going to realize that we aren't watching their commmercials due to lousy news coverage.

I just know that I can't stand the idea of seeing any more coverage about Michael Jackson or any of the other stupid stuff Roberts was going to cover. I mean...who cares?

8. I was shocked last week...BBC World's lead story was MJ too
....when the defense rested. Tanya Beckett was filling in for Katty Kay that night.
