Reep Admits Bush Lied about Iraq (then tell why Clinton's lie was WORSE)
Edited on Thu Jun-02-05 12:18 PM by elehhhhna
"Bush lied to save American lives and to destroy Arab scumbag terrorists. Clinton lied to save his fat ass. Libs must be SO proud. "

Thus Bush's lie was noble. Bill's was selfish.

I've now heard it all.

10. I LOVE that line...
When Clinton lied nobody DIED !

says it all.

Clinton's lie was an impeachable offense but 1,600 dead soldiers later the public at large still thinks * is doing the right thing...what an irony.

12. We do need to debunk that one, don't we?
Those types of false histories, where we justify some horrible atrocity with a weak ahistorical excuse, are what convinces people that the Iraqi invasion was justified. Same with Columbus, the Native American genocide, even (this will be controversial, but I'll say it anyway) the Civil War--all examples of extreme violence and bloodshed that we've been taught were really for a good cause, and thus acceptable.

Just my opinion. If getting a extr-marital BJ was illegal then most of the politicians in DC would be gone.

9. How did Bush save American lives?
Saddam had no weapons and no working relationship with terrorists. He was not a threat to Americans or even to his weakest neighbors. The intelligence was "fixed" around the policy to say otherwise; in other words, Bush and his aides knew the truth and it wasn't good enough for their purposes.

No lives were saved. No terrorists were destroyed. If anything, terrorists were strengthed as a result of the Iraq invasion.

The invasion and occupation of Iraq is not only bad policy, it is a war crime.

As for Clinton lying to save his fat ass, I won't dispute that. He should ashamed of himself; moreover, he is and has said so. Clinton long ago stopped making excuses for himself over that.

Nevertheless, Clinton's lies about love don't even count when compared to Bush's lies about war. It is ridiculous to say otherwise.

24. Well, in his divine graciousness, he hasn't killed you. Yet.
So he's saved your life.

You have to learn to think like Republicans. Bush has saved every life on this planet that he hasn't blown up, and he's saved all their children for generations, too. Trillions of lives, all saved by Bush.

Ingrate!

15. What is Monica Lewinsky doing these days?
"You know who was at the Vanity Fair (Academy Awards) party? Monica Lewinsky. She was sitting right next to me. I was at table 14; she was under table 12." —Jay Leno

"Celebrity birthdays, today Monica Lewinsky is 28. It seemed like just yesterday she was crawling around on the floor in the Oval Office." —David Letterman

"Monica Lewinsky has gained back all the weight she lost last year. I believe that's the cover story in Newsweek. In fact, she told reporters she was even considering having her jaw wired shut, but then, nah — she didn't want to give up her sex life." —Jay Leno

"It seems Monica Lewinsky is on the loose again, teaming up with HBO to do a documentary about her affair with Bill Clinton. It's not really a documentary. It will be more of an oral history." —Jay Leno

Edited on Thu Jun-02-05 12:45 PM by thebigidea
awful. I just had a terrible flashback to the 1990s, when the word "Clinton" was a cue for me to change the channel or walk away from whoever was talking.

In retrospect, I'd have gladly swapped the mess we've got now for the impeachment headaches and monica-frenzy.

Gimme back the 90s!

Without the bad jokes this time.

20. Which American lives do these dopes think Bush was saving?
It seems we've lost almost 1700 in the military alone since then. How many more would have been lost without the war?

Just think of all those balsa planes dropping cans of 20-year-old Sarin on America's Main Streets. :eyes:
