The emergence of populist leaders like Chavez,Kirchner,Lula and
quite possibly Lopez Obrador in Mexico shows the futility of nearly one hundred years of American Hegemony in Latin America. After the suffering and needless deaths inflicted on the people of that continent to enforce the looting of their resources by our corporations in cahoots with their oligarchs, the wheels of history have turned putting the people in charge.

The same bells are tolling for U.S. hegemonic ambitions in the Middle East.It will be only a matter of time our stooges Mubarak, 77 years old will either fade away or be dethroned, the Sauds will see the fate met by another favorite stooge, the Shah of Iran and Pevez Musharraf will be forced to flee Pakistan. When that day comes, as it inevitably must, all the Pundits in our cozy think tanks will disappear selling their snake oil to the next gullible group. The victims of their madness and ignorance of history, the U.S. soldiers and the civilians will pay the price paid by many Latin people over the last century or more.
