Bolton documents contain classified company names
THURSDAY, JUNE 2, 2005

WASHINGTON The information that the White House has refused to provide Congress for its review into the nomination of John Bolton as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations includes the names of companies mentioned in intelligence reports on commerce with China and other countries covered by export restrictions, according to officials briefed on the matter.

It had been reported that the White House was refusing to hand over only the names of 19 Americans mentioned in 10 intelligence reports by the U.S. National Security Agency.

1. Bush didn't hesitate a second when he outed a CIA agent for revenge.
Now he won't open up, even when it's a matter of good governance and constitutional standards..

5. How Can A Corporation Be Classified?
I don't get this. Why would anybody doing business either with or at the behest of the gov't be classifed as secret? Aren't they public companies? Doesn't that make them, by definition, public? Even if they're privately held, do they do ANY business with the public? And, isn't the money they're making at the behest of the gov't public money?

It makes NO SENSE that the name of a company doing business with the U.S. gov't be held classified. Unless of course, they had something to hide. Shoe's on the other foot now, isn't it?

6. Obviously, The Administration does have something to hide
Bush wonders why Bolton isn't getting the nod, because he won't authorize the release of these papers. No Release and No Bolton, that simple...
