When we refer to Downing Street, should we change the word Memo?

In order to give the report the weight it deserves, perhaps our correspondence to the msm should not include the word "Memo", but rather one of the following:

6. Here's why the use of "MINUTES"

as a frame of reference is absolutely essential.

Any American that has ever been involved in local politics, K of C, sorority, fraternity, Elks, Brownie or Cub Scouts already KNOWS the significance of the MINUTES of a meeting. It is the OFFICIAL RECORD of WHO.SAID.WHAT.WHEN.

Memo, short for memorandum, Merriam-Webster:

1. an informal record; also: a written reminder
2. an informal note of a transaction or proposed instrument
3. an informal diplomatic communication that contains directive, advisory or INFORMATIVE matter

Minutes: THE OFFICIAL RECORD OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF A MEETING.

It is actually the minutes of a meeting, and stating the players involved at the meeting gives it more weight. But it was the JIC reporting to Blair and company, and that adds seriousness to the nature of the meeting ... IMO.

Enough, anyway, that if you mentioned the "Downing Street minutes" or whatever, people would think you're talking about something separate.
