Conyers MINUTES letter- for naysayers and those afraid to sign
First a word to all naysayers of the signature collection by Mr.Conyers,

If they continue unabated things will only get worse and we may lose the chance to do anything at all. The elections did not go very well and it may not be a fair election ever again, or at least for awhile into the future. IMO

An investigation could bring out those behind the smoke and mirrors. It may be a long shot, but well worth it, IMO and others much smarter than I.

He needs to be sent to the Hague and so do his co-horts. An election will not change their crimes against humanity. Do we let those slide on the chance that we can elect better next year? 2008? That's just not acceptable in any way. How many more lives lost are acceptable on a chance over a year away? None.

I personally do not want to wait until he's dropped more radiation on civilization in the form of a massive nuke. He now has more power in that area also.

It just can not wait until 2006 or 2008.

BigJohnBear posted that 59,000 hit the Downing Minutes page over the weekend.

This is great news! Now we must keep doing our part and get more signatures. The more signatures he has to back him up, the better our chances are of sending * and co. to the Hague.

And to those with the fear of retribution if they sign,

Please keep in mind that those with a fear of signing due to a fear of retribution are the exact reason we MUST keep this going!

There are huge numbers of the concerned signing this letter, there is no way for the PTB to put all of us away! (Thanks BigBearJohn!)

How can this remain America if there is fear generated by a petition for signatures???!!!

Has this ever happened in our history? Joseph McCarthy? Anyone know?

If you haven't signed or passed it on yet:

Try to send letters to your Congressional representatives return receipt requested. We need proof that they are aware of this. Denial is not just a river in Egypt!

Thanks DU for all you are doing!

This is what patriotism is really all about.

1. Time to take a stand.
I signed -- big and proud like John Hancock -- because I know that if you shy away from every skirmish and battle, you will never succeed. I urge others to make this letter a priority, and e-mail the information around and about.

Thank you, vickiss

2. I rarely sign petitions, but I signed this one. This is about our
government apparently lying us into war. And it is based on an official document from the UK. I implore my fellow DUer's to sign this petition. Remember that many of our Democratic congress people have already submitted a letter. You will be in good company. Please stand up and sign this thing. This is patriotism and democracy at work.

4. That is so great harrison!
I think there are many signing that have never signed any petitions before. And thanks for the heads up, we need all we can get to succeed together in this battle.

7. Yes...
I have to admit to recently thinking twice about signing petiitions given the increasing internet surveillance and retribution by those in power. These fears can no longer be dismissed as tin foil paranoia.

But, I finally decided that I can't live in this kind of world--one where we can't believe anything our government tells us, where all our tax dollars are squandered to pay off their contributors and cronies, and where our freedoms are rapidly eroding. This is not the country I was born and raised in. So, I either have to leave, or join others in trying to take it back, no matter what happens to me. So, I won't fight in Bush*s unholy war, but I will have to be prepared for whatever consequence of standing up for my ideals here.

Won't you join me and all the many who will similarly face these fears with nothing but conviction of belief and hope for the future?
