Did I just see Mark Fuhrman on the CBS Evening News?
I'm on the West Coast, so the news is still on here.

There was just a segment on West in Spokane, and they had Mark Fuhrman as a "pundit" on the subject. What the hell is that about? What makes that pinhead racist any kind of expert on the subject of hypocrisy or closeted homosexual? Jesus on a trailer hitch, who will they have next? What he said was perfectly reasonable, but for pity's sake.

I think their address is evening@cbsnews.com. I'm off to write them a letter.

2. He moved to Northern Idaho a long time ago
Coeur d'alene Idaho, just a few miles from Spokane, where he's sort of a celebrity.

4. Thanks.
Wonderful, just freaking wonderful.

BTW, what he said was perfectly reasonable, but I never expected him to show up on my TV as a "pundit."

That explains it, but ye gods! the justification is worse.

Thank you, though. I thought I was loosing my freaking mind. (I still might be.)

6. He "redeemed" himself by putting away the Kennedy cousin Skakel
The story really was a tragedy, and it would have been wrong for michael skakel to live his life a free man. IIRC Fuhrman coaxed his shrink into spilling the beans and then wrote a book explaining how the crime took place. The local Shultz cops were shamed into reopening the case, and hopefully Michael Skakel gets his ass beaten daily for beating that beautiful girl to death with a golf club.

8. Kennedy cousin by marriage, you know.
The Skakel family were huge Republican supporters. But the "liberal" media sure loved to drop the name "Kennedy" to try and associate violent crime with a well-known Democratic name, didn't they?
