Sometimes, I am amused at repubs delusions
Take this belief on the current candidates for the DNC nomination as an example: just because there are more than two democrats with some of their own ideals and POV's (that don't always jibe with each other-i.e., that don't act like repubs' group-think)that somehow, the democratic party is doomed to failure. The fact that we haven't narrowed it down to two men by now indicates, to them, that the democratic party is "pathetic."

No, asswipes, this is called the American political process in action.

These folks should give it a try sometime. True Americans listen to all of these POV's to be informed voters, so that they will be able to vote their conscience...as opposed to lining up like obedient little worms to elect a pampered-frat boy who has done everything that money can buy to create world-wide animosity against us, and put this nation into chaos.

What really is "pathetic" is a military deserter who campaigned for the RNC nomination by slamming the reputation of John McCain-someone who actually served his country and spent several years in a P.O.W. camp. Meanwhile, the corporate puppet who would be king gets shitfaced in the bars around campus.

The amusement is that they are convinced of our disarray because media whores like "I didn't serve my country because I had a cyst on my ass" Limbaugh says so. Anyone been listening to him lately? His recent tirades sound like the desperation of rats sinking with the ship.

1. What has always got me
is that McCain didn't bring up Shrub's little hiatus from the Air Guard. Or did he, and the media ignored him as much as they ignored Dems? Had Murdoch & Co already bought and paid for Shrub and so wanted only him in office?

6. RE: What has always got me
This misadministration was bought from day one. There was a time when one of the first things repubs looked for in their candidate was an honorable military record.

Dubya's pappy didn't have one either, IMHO...if you remember, he left his co-pilot to die in nazi hands when he was shot down. And then there are the records of the Prescott-nazi connection. But hey, why should that bother today's neo-con CRYpto facists? All they had to do was pay cops in Florida to keep "them coloreds" away from the polling stations.

7. Not to quibble, but I think GHWB fought in the Japenese theater
and he alledgedly bailed (on his second ditch?) before his bombardier got out.

4. Well stated.
The Lushbots seem quite incapable of making their own decisions about their candidates. Someone must tell them who their choice is and then, like mindless drones that protect the queen bee at all costs, they proceed to avoid reality.

What I find particularly interesting is the groupthink aspect. While they rail against "communists", they certainly share many attributes f a typical Maoist who recites the party line. Instead of a red book of the chairman's thoughts, they have the RNC "talking points" to guide their political correctness.

It really is a pathetic group of people who identify with the criminal, corrupt leadership of this administration.

Welcome on board, too!

9. But the thing is
they really don't care if they're delusional or not as long as they keep winning elections. The quest for absolute power in this land is what drives them. The need for the Democratic Party to draw its last breath so that the power grab will be complete.
