2. They could have found Bin Laden in 2001-2002
If they had really wanted to but they wanted to keep him alive to keep people scared. If they had caught him Bushco might not have had the support to continue the phony war on terror.Yes they are looking for him but its a half hearted attempt at best.

1984 Ch7
http://www.online-literature.com/orwell/1984/7/

Goldstein had fled and was hiding no one knew where, and of the others, a few had simply disappeared, while the majority had been executed after spectacular public trials at which they made confession of their crimes. Among the last survivors were three men named Jones, Aaronson, and Rutherford. It must have been in 1965 that these three had been arrested. As often happened, they had vanished for a year or more, so that one did not know whether they were alive or dead, and then had suddenly been brought forth to incriminate themselves in the usual way.

8. Here's an idea.
Let's draft all the celebrity paparazzi into a special unit to find Zarqawi and Osama. They can find anyone. Plus, we wouldn't have to see any more pictures of Britney or Paris for a very long time.

16. Dammit, mo, pResident Cheney knows EXACTLY where
bin Laden is and can whip him out any damn time he wants to but he knows that bin Laden is vitally necessary to keep the War On Terra going so we can close some more bases so Halliburton can make lots more money to pour back into the economy to attract more recruits to our Modern Armies, so stop saying that!

21. The four reasons the U.S. really invaded Iraq
1.Oil
As admitted by Paul Wolfowitz in Vanity Fair magazine.
2. Because there are few good roads in Afghanistan as compared with Iraq meaning big mac-stuffed, french fry-filled American soldiers would have to get out of their vehicles and walk rather than drive to search for Osama bin Laden.
Even Rumsfeld admitted this. "There are no good targets in Afghanistan."
3. Because there is nothing good on television, and Americans (especially NASCAR dads) want to see stuff blow up.
4. George W. thought a quick victory would boost his re-election chances. It's the same mistake his dad made, only this time the Bush won anyway because Kerry ran a wussy campaign.

22. Zarqawi is a made-up boogie man
Was interesting to hear some lib-type talking heads throw out this idea on several talk shows recently. Their idea was that, while there is or was probably a real Zarqawi sometime/somewhere, bushco has invented Zarqawi as a super-duper boogie man to scare the US sheeple, as if we were a bunch of children. These heads said that if Zarqawi is dead, or has died, then bushco surely doesn't want us to know it...they'll have to invent another boogie man to take his place. Altho this is something we all know anyway, it was still interesting to hear it expressed in the MSM.
